Jeff-

I really appreciated you going the extra mile for me. You did a great job on my Mission Bow with both the set-up & adjustments. I'm very impressed with the arrows you recommended and look forward to shooting them when it counts! Thanks for the great service- you've built a loyal customer with me. Great Work!!!

In response to the person upset about Archers Quest being closed on Labor Day, I offer this. Drive up to the big box stores, i.e. Gander or Dick's, and tell me what kind of service you received. Or, how about spending the $30 in gas to get to Cabela's? The locally owned archery shop is so important for all of us to have. Be a little bit more understanding and actually be glad the shop is in Oshkosh. The small mom and pop shops are becoming extinct. Just be glad Archer's Quest is there for us all to take advantage of their service and expertise.

I am taking my bow down to get tuned. I am sure I will have a good experience.

Thank you for having top notch service and products! Just to mentioned I called first on Labor Day to find out that you weren't open. So I decided to buy my new DXT the next day. Thank you very much! By the way as hard as you and your family work at this business you deserve to have a holiday off!

Thanks again!

On Monday Sept 1, (I know it was Labor Day) but no one was around. No sign to say that the shop was closed, etc. It seems to me that if you're trying to build a business that you'd want to be open as much as possible, even on holidays, especially this close to the hunting season. It was very disappointing. We will not pass along any good comments to anyone who asks.

ARCHER's QUEST RESPONSE: We are sorry that you found us closed on Labor Day. We did have a couple of folks call and we opened the store for them, staying late into the night to help them out.

We close on holidays for the sole reason that we rarely got customers on the holidays that we were open in the past. If we had your contact information, we would be glad to call you and discuss this matter, but we don't have it.

If you are basing your comments to others on the fact that we were not open on Labor Day, I suggest you come in and give us a try to really see what our store is about. Our service can not be beat and we take individual interest in each person that walks in the store.

We work in our store six days a week, sometimes twelve hours a day, and we simply took one day off that we thought we would not be getting any customers in. We were open on the Fourth of July and many other holidays were two or three people came in the store.

Due to your comment, we will reconsider not being open on Labor Day, and perhaps next year we will remain open.

Again, come in and see what great products and service we have to get the right idea about us. We encourage everyone else to do the same.

Thanks for sorting out my bow. Got it back to England safely and have found a couple of places where I can shoot it. Many thanks again and best of luck with your full time commitment at the shop. Tony said the opening was a grand affair.
